Margaret

Hello Alex,

I live in Texas in the United States.  I saw you and your family and friends on the television special.  You are such a dear little boy.  You have the friendliest smile and the eyes of an angel.  I liked your school, too.  It looked like you had a lot of fun with your friends on the playground.  I also like the photos of you dressed as a chef. You look very smart in that outfit.  I loved dressing up when I was little.  My favorite was a fairy costume with a sparkly wand.

Be good and have fun.

Your friend,

Margaret

I just wanted to say that I hoped Alex and his dad didn't mind me speaking to them at the park in Ormskirk.  He is such a lovely child and the documentary showed what a lovely family you are. I have so much admiration for your famly and you have done a sterling job in raising awareness about this condition.  Take care.  Katie x

I just want to say how inspriational Alex and all the other children who have this condition are.  I look at my own two year old son and cannot bear to think of the pain that all the parents must have been through and all the worry you have in front of you.  However, the children are just so amazing and show us all how to lead a full life.  As parents you are all truly amazing and make me feel so humble.

I wish you all the best for the future.  You really have touched my heart.

I was simply overwhelmed by the documentary last night, the extrodinary courage and determination shown by everyone involved absolutely blew me away. Alex is a wonderful child and has proven that impossible really is nothing. Your beautiful story blew me away, it really was a joy to see how you never give up, the effort put into raising awareness to this condition was wonderful. you are fantasic parents.

all the best for the future, never stop believing.
